Pre-Adverse Action Letter With Summary of Rights Under the FCRA

The Pre-Adverse Action Letter can be used when something is revealed during the background check process that could negatively impact a candidate’s ability to join the organization. The Pre-Adverse Action letter informs the candidate that such action may have to occur once the company completes a review of the information received. The letter also provides the candidate with information for the Reporting Agency so that any inaccurate information can be disputed.
